Street Fair & Grand Duck Race

Gloucestershire’s Friendliest Family Day Out
Late May Bank Holiday

All Hallows Church and the Street Fair

The Street Fair was started by All Hallows church over 30 years ago and since then it has grown and developed into a major event over the whole weekend. As well as drawing the local community together, it supports the work of the church, provides opportunities for local organisations and raises funds for charities.

The Duck Race also regularly raises money for local children’s and youth organisations. Above all, the Street Fair weekend is a great family event which attracts large numbers of people to have fun and to enjoy the beauty of our village setting.

The Grand Duck Race

The Grand Duck Race is the much-anticipated culmination of the Street Fair and always draws a large crowd. Make sure to grab your spot by the riverside to see the ducks battle their way through the many obstacles in their quest to be the first across the finish line and claim the right to be called the champion! Will your duck be the victor?

A Wonderful Family Day Out

There’s certainly no chance of being bored at the Street Fair, with the incredible array of events, attractions and stalls. Whatever you look for in a family day out, we have it. From pig roasts to live music. Morris dancers, a flower festival and even Daleks! With over 100 stalls and a multitude of activities, there’s something for everyone.

Picturesque Surroundings

We don’t think anyone could deny that we’re incredibly fortunate to have such a picturesque setting to hold the Street Fair. South Cerney has a long history dating back to AD999 and provides a wonderful backdrop for the event. For a real flavour of what Cotswold life and hospitality has to offer, you won’t find many better examples.
